Lingerie

As you know I am a lover of Lingerie and am always being nosey, looking around for new items! These are my favourite ones I have come across this past hour. If you hadn't noticed I love black underwear, especially when it has mesh, lace patterns on. Such a suck'a for a good pair of knickers! xox

I have fallen in love with these two items of clothing this week. I have always loved underwear so have always kept an eye out for the next nicest item. I especially love this black lace piece. I would kill to have it! It reminds me of a mermaids shell bra, so elegant and pretty. need it in my life! It is by 'unterwasche'. Am going to be buying a set as soon as I get paid!

I have also fell in love with these 'candy' trainers. They're so girly and out their with the polka dots and pink bows. Need them!

Little bit about me...

As it's not actually on my blog, I thought i'd share a little about me with you all!

My name is Laurel Cummins, most of my friends call me Lolly though and I am 19 years old.

I don't really know how to talk about myself very well, I just sort of blabber on a bit, so get comfy if you're reading this!
I have recently got a job working for Ann Summers which I am looking forward to starting as I am a bit of an underwear addict, one of my new years resolutions is to only buy matching underwear. I think this job suits that pretty god damn well! I used to work for Topshop - worked their for over a year whilst being at college studying photography, graphic design, maths, english literature and language. Whilst working for Topshop I built up a big back ground knowledge which is forever growing on fashion. I also love fashion photography, Nick Knight is one of my favourite photographers.

I am happily in love with a lovely boy called Nick Jones, who is in a band called Polar. Last year they went on tour with Young Guns, Defeater, While she sleeps and TRC, as well as their own headline tour. They go on tour in April with Funeral for a friend. Check them out! We have only been together nearly a year and live together, wouldn't have it any other way :)

I also am a massive animal lover, my two kitties and puppy make me very happy!

I have a habit of changing my hair colour a lot. I've been pink, purple, blue, silver, blonde, white, red and am brunette at the moment, but am planning on going back a blondie colour this year, am thinking more Ash/honey blonde. Can't wait!
I am a very big party girl, always out with my friends, drinking more than my body can take! and love every second of it. Friends I made last year are better than people I have known for years, true friends come out when things happen! But we are always out having a laugh. Drinking too much vodka...
I also draw a lot, I will be posting my drawings on here as much as I can! I am looking to become a tattooist, but am saving up my money right now and building up my portfolio to start applying. I got offered an apprenticeship in Vegas, but due to family commitments I didn't feel it was the right time to leave, it'll be worth the wait :) I am constantly drawing, i do a lot of mandala and stippling style drawings, as well as some neo traditional.

So yeah, that is basically me summed up roughly! Hope you enjoy my blog and I will post as often as possible!

Lolly xoxo

Good'day

I'm always blogging other peoples outfit choices, but never show my own. This is my outfit from last Saturday as I went out on the town for a friends birthday. I am wearing a Topshop crop top which has mis length mesh sleeves, I have fallen in love with this top, because I am quite busty I have to be careful at what tops I wear, otherwise they make me look massive, but this one fits my figure nicely without showing too much cleevage and the right amount of stomach.
On the bottom half I am wearing ASOS levi shorts which have studs on the front pocket, this are so bloody comfy! They don't show half of my bum too which is quite nice for a change! I completed them with a simple black belt which is from a charity shop, I wore a black belt as I felt it matched the top well.
On my feet I wore all black creepers with black ankle socks. You can't see in this picture but I have quite a few tattoo's around my ankles which showed off nicely peeping over the socks, another thing with the mesh top, arm tattoo's look awesome through them! especially if they're all in colour like mine. I have a red rose on my chest/shoulder that look's really affective, as well as my arms.
I decided to wear my hair up with this outfit as I had my legs out, but i've worn it again recently with black tights and my hair down, still looks good :) especially as my hair has ombre ends so isn't too much black.
Finally I completed it with a watch that my dad had brought me for christmas, it is a light brown leather strap watch, on the face it has the world atlas. I am looking to go traveling and trying to save money for it, he thought every time I go to buy something it'll stop me, it's worked so far! Also with a thing cross bracelet and a thing bangle with a triangle on it, finally with a thin peace sign necklace.

Hope you liked my first outfit update, will be posting more :)

My Favourite Fashion blogs this week.

MONDAY
Monday I chose Jessica Yocum's outfit of 'peroxide prinxesses'. I felt that this outfit would be perfect for a Monday morning, having the big, self made, jacket to keep you nice and cosy. (I just thought of layering up in the mornings when i'm having to drag myself out of bed for university!). The faux leather leggings from American Apparel still give it that edgy rocker look which matches well with the jacket and Dr.Martins. I also felt that the pink shades in Yocum's hair gives it that punk look, perfect with the leather and studded denim.

TUESDAY
Tuesday I loved Liisa Kaunisvirta's outfit 'How I see the world today'. I always class Monday and Tuesday as the same type of days, both dull, still recovering from the weekend, and the days where comfy clothes are essential. First of all, Kaunisvirta's, second hand jumper and thick, warm, scarf stood out to me the most. I love how all the darker tones still match so well with her beautiful, vibrant hair, lighting up that Tuesday for you. Completing the outfit with a trust worthy pair of creepers.

WEDNESDAY
For Wednesday I decided to lighten it up a bit, only slightly though, with more pastel tones. Alexia Bambi's outfit is just perfect for that. Starting with her beautiful long hair, an ashy/blue colour which compliments the subtle pink in her lips, leading onto a pastel pink cotton sweater with the brighter polka dot purple coming through the seems. Still keeping the darker side from Monday & Tuesday with the black trousers.

THURSDAY
Starting to get ready for the weekend, Crescent Moon's outfit 'la leopard' stood out to me perfectly. Dimming down again for the weekend, giving it a slightly gothic look with the blacked out sunglasses and Topshop tights her outfit compliments the vintage leopard print dress perfectly. Completing the outfit with a pair of 'vintage Mary Janes'.

FRIDAY
Finally! Friday is here! As soon as I saw Violet.E's outfit I knew it would be perfect for a Friday night, heading out with friends. I absolutely love how grungy this outfit is (Gothic inner child is coming out!) - the Motel Rocks black hot pants fit with the ripped tights perfectly, completing that edgy look. Violet's, long brunette hair completes this Friday outfit perfectly.

SATURDAY
Slightly more settled down for a Saturday outfit, Selena Cruz stood out to me with 'uneven pavements'. Still from the Friday night of being grungy, the fish net tights along with stripper boots fall into place nicely. I do love my darker tones. Completed with the perfect accessories of a black hat and thick bracelets.

SUNDAY
Finally, the likes of Sunday roll round and you're getting ready to start your week all over again. I've always classed Sunday's as my 'getting things done' days, wethers it's running around or catching up with uni work, Rebecca Rendina's outfit 'black moments' matches this for me perfectly. I love the long, Zara grey jacket, matching with the Zara kitty top, the shades of grey blend together perfectly. Then toning down with H&M wet look black skirt and tights. Fully completing the outfit with the beautiful, lilac hair.

Pink

Another blog that I have looked at today was Amy Valentine's. Again with loving her style, I also love the colour of her hair. I miss having pink hair! Although I found myself re-dying it every week! When I go back blonde some time this year i'm sure i'll end up dyeing my hair tons of colours again, being stuck to brunette can be so dull sometimes!

If you want to check out her LOOKBOOK it is...

Ash Blonde

Today I have been looking at a blog on LOOKBOOK, a girl called Rosaliee.W - Her style is exactly the same as what I like, a bit grungy but with the girlie edge to it. I am really envious of her hair colour! I used to be this blonde, but a little bit more peroxide, I am now dark brunette. I do miss being along the blonde tones so am going to go back this year, was thinking long the lines of this colour to more honey tones.

If you have a LOOKBOOK and would like to have a nosey at this beautiful girls blog then here it is :)

Little black dress

I am a strong believer that every girls needs a little black dress, I have a couple, all different styles. Fitted, baggy, long sleeved, short, plain, sparkly. Perfect for every occasion wether it's just popping out for the evening or heading into town. You get dress it up with a lovely fur coat, or dress it down with a pair of dr martins.

Camo
I remember at the beginning of 2012 I was in Urban Outfitters browsing around all the lovely clothes in the vintage section and found some of the camo jackets, tried them on, then realised they were around £50 and didn't have a size which fitted my petite figure very well. A couple of days later I was in Camden shopping in some of the vintage shops and found tons of the jackets, I instantly fell in love with them and decided to save up for one. A couple of months down the line I realised more and more people were starting to get them so decided against getting one. Topshop recently started doing something along the lines like it, but it had leather sleeves and just a plain dark green body which was around £60/£70 which i absolutely loved! (i've tried to find the link to it on the website, but no luck!) I am leaving it a couple of weeks as I don't want the same to happen with the camo!

These styles with the camo I have found on LOOKBOOK do look really good though, very military with a kick of sexiness to it by showing a bit of skin. I especially love the style of the bottom one with the camo t-shirt and black skirt.
A burst of colour

I am not one to dress in a lot of colour, gothic kid side will never leave me, but I do love it when an outfit which is all dark shades has an item of clothing which is a burst of colour to it, with out being too intense, it gives the outfit more of an edgy feel to it.

I usually am not a fan of yellow unless it is in a pastel form or for highlights in a drawing, but this sunshine yellow really works well with the grey trousers and metallic purse and shoes, another material I am keen on, but really feel it full the outfit together well, whilst still looking smart.
The yellow underneath the dark grey coat also works well as it is almost hidden, but the odd part showing up by the hands completely brightens the outfit.
Lua . P
Lua is possibly one of my favourite people to envy over on LOOKBOOK. I love how she always looks so grungy, but still so feminine at the same time. Her unique style has always struck out to me with how her clothes are one the darker tones, but then has this beautiful fire red hair with the ombre blonde tips.
I attempted my own version of this hair which i absolutely loved, but personally found the upkeep of it to be a little too much as I found the red faded really quickly, although it was something I did with LIVE XXL colour packets so if I had the money to get it done professionally i'm sure it would last longer.

LOOKBOOK

Good'day everyone! Just thought i'd let you know that I am starting to add more fashion interests to this blog as I am forever finding out new styles that I love and then loosing them! So thought i'd gather them in one place.

A lot of my styles will be from LOOKBOOK as that is where I mainly see my styles. I am going to start adding my own clothing choices to the site every now and then so stay tuned. If you would like to follow me on the site just search 'Lolly Cummins', although nothing is posted yet.

I am currently looking for a full time job in a retail store to expand my ever growing knowledge on fashion.

Although I will be posting more about fashion on here I will still be uploading my photography and design work.

Hope everyone had a lovely christmas and a happy new year.
